Blood oxygen levels depend on your health, breathing rate, the amount of oxygen in the air, activity and other factors.
Oxygen saturation in the blood is denoted by the symbol SpO2 and is expressed as a percentage. The normal saturation value for healthy people is 94% – 99%. People with mild respiratory disease may have 90% or more SpO2.
If the arterial oxygen saturation falls below 90%, the person should receive supplemental oxygen. From now on, monitor and protect your health by always holding a pulse oximeter on hand.
Heart rate is denoted by the symbol PRbpm and is expressed in beats per minute. The normal heart rate range is 60 to 90 beats per minute.
